ROOTS & BEGINNING
zillion was founded in 2018, as the next step of electric engineer Vasileios Ziogos’ thriving business. The new company was built on the solid foundation of his father’s commercial heating and air conditioning company in Giannitsa, Greece, which proved to be an excellent starting point for the realization of Ziogos younger generation’s vision.
The course towards zillion had started in 2009, by undertaking small energy works, in a field that was just making its first steps in the Greek market. By gradually building his experience accordingly, and based on his specialized scientific knowledge on renewable energy, Vasileios Ziogos would soon go further to work on public construction projects, as well as on the procurement of sustainable electromechanic systems. His company came thus to evolve into a considerable player in the highly competitive environment of this new, quickly growing market.
In 2018, at the beginning of the second decade of his career, in Thessaloniki, Vasileios Ziogos founded zillion, which until today has implemented photovoltaic systems that account for more than 200MW of power, as well as numerous other applications. Showcasing remarkable growth, the company is already established amongst the leading organizations in the sector of energy applications.
