The company’s objective is to provide its products and services while protecting the environment and using energy in an efficient and responsible manner.

This objective shall be achieved through the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of energy saving measures and an Energy Management System in accordance with ISO 50001.

The commitment of the company is based on the following principles:

1. Continuous reduction of energy consumption and continuous improvement of energy performance, while maintaining the high quality level of its products and services.

2. Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the company’s carbon footprint.

3. Identification and elimination of any area of energy waste through regular review and evaluation of its processes and operations.

4. Monitoring and compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to energy use, energy efficiency, and energy consumption.

5. Implementation and certification of an Energy Management System according to ISO 50001, aiming at continual improvement of energy performance.

6. Establishment of measurable energy objectives and targets within the Energy Management System. These objectives are reviewed annually, and the results of the review lead to the definition of new or improved objectives.

7. Provision by top management of all necessary resources to achieve the energy objectives and targets.

8. Communication of the Energy Management Policy, system objectives, actions, and results to all employees. Employees receive appropriate training on energy saving practices, which they can also apply in their personal environment.
