POLICY

Human rights labor policy

Human rights are moral principles that establish specific standards of human behavior and are usually protected as legal rights under national and international law. They are regarded as “universally understood, inalienable fundamental rights to which every person is entitled from the moment of birth, simply because they are human beings.”

“If there is a common moral language in the global community in times of peace, it is that of human rights.”

These include civil and political rights such as the right to life and liberty, freedom of thought and expression, and equality before the law. Human rights also include economic, social, and cultural rights such as the right to work, the right to health, the right to food, the right to housing, medical care, education, and the right to participate in cultural life.

“Human rights are therefore considered universal (they apply and are valid everywhere) and they safeguard equality (they apply equally to everyone).”

Introduction

Respect for human rights is fundamental to the sustainability of ZILLION SINGLE PC and the communities in which we operate. Our company is committed to ensuring that all people are treated with dignity and respect.

The Human Rights Policy of ZILLION MON IKE is governed by the international principles of human rights as set out in:

  • The Universal Declaration of Human Rights,

  • The International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work,

  • The United Nations Global Compact, and

  • The United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Respect for Human Rights

ZILLION SINGLE PC respects human rights. We are committed to identifying and preventing any adverse human rights impacts related to our business activities through due diligence processes and proactive compliance measures.

Sexual Orientation

Rights related to sexual orientation and gender identity concern the expression of sexual orientation and gender identity based on the right to respect for private life and the right to non-discrimination on the grounds of “other status,” as defined in various human rights instruments, such as Articles 17 and 26 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and Articles 8 and 14 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Cooperation with Local Communities and Partners

We recognize our influence on the communities in which we operate. We are committed to working with local partners to ensure that we listen to and take into account their views, learning from them as we conduct our business activities. Where necessary, we commit to engaging in dialogue with stakeholders on human rights issues related to our operations.

We believe that local issues are best addressed at the local level. We also commit to creating economic opportunities and fostering a climate of goodwill in the communities in which we operate.

Respect for Diversity

We respect and value the diversity of our people and their contribution. We have a long-standing commitment to providing equal opportunities and do not tolerate discrimination or harassment.

We ensure workplaces that are free from discrimination and harassment based on race, gender, color, national or social origin, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, political beliefs, or any other status protected by applicable law.

Recruitment, placement, training, compensation, and promotion decisions are based solely on professional qualifications, performance, skills, and experience.

Regardless of personal characteristics or social status, the Company does not tolerate offensive or inappropriate behavior, unfair treatment, or retaliation of any kind. Harassment is unacceptable in the workplace and in any work-related setting outside the workplace. These principles apply not only to company employees but also to all individuals who collaborate with us.

Freedom of Thought, Conscience, and Religion

Every person has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion. This right includes the freedom to change one’s religion or beliefs and the freedom to manifest one’s religion or belief individually or in community with others, in public or in private, through worship, observance, practice, and teaching.

Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining

We respect our employees’ right to form, join, or refrain from joining trade unions without fear of retaliation or harassment. Where employees are represented by a legally recognized union, we commit to developing constructive dialogue with their freely chosen representatives and to negotiating in good faith.

Safe and Healthy Workplace

We provide a safe and healthy workplace in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal health and safety requirements. We focus on maintaining a productive work environment while minimizing the risk of accidents, injuries, and exposure to health hazards.

We are committed to continuous improvement in occupational health and safety, including risk identification and the remediation of health and safety issues.

Workplace Security

We are committed to maintaining a workplace free from violence, harassment, intimidation, and other unsafe or threatening conditions arising from internal or external threats.

Appropriate security measures are provided when deemed necessary, with full respect for employees’ privacy and dignity.

Slavery, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking

We prohibit any form of exploitation of individuals through slavery or servitude, the use of forced, bonded, or compulsory labor, and any involvement in human trafficking.

Child Labor

We comply with all local laws regarding minimum working age, as provided for in ILO Convention No. 138. We prohibit the employment of persons under the age of 18 in hazardous work, as defined by ILO Convention No. 182.

Working Hours, Wages, and Benefits
